Meet Isabel, a warm, approachable, and compassionate provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Professional Psychology. Isabel is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety and other mental health challenges, with a particular interest in helping people build resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Drawing on experience facilitating anxiety groups and delivering mental health education in community settings, Isabel is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and tailoring interventions to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Alongside her clinical training, Isabel has developed strong research skills through her work exploring the experiences of female language brokers and culturally diverse communities. This has strengthened her appreciation of the ways culture, family dynamics, and identity influence mental health and wellbeing, informing her culturally responsive approach to practice.
