Meet Nayibe, a warm, patient, and approachable counsellor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and improve their mental wellbeing. With a Bachelor of Counselling completed in 2022 and clinical registration with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), Nayibe brings valuable experience supporting individuals living with complex mental health conditions and families seeking to better understand their loved ones’ mental health journeys.
Having worked as a Mental Health Clinician and NDIS Recovery Coach, Nayibe understands the importance of providing compassionate, individualised support that recognises each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Their approach is grounded in genuine human connection, active listening, and creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, respected, and valued.
Drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, person-centred counselling, and solution-focused therapy, Nayibe works collaboratively with clients to develop practical coping strategies, build self-awareness, and work towards meaningful change.
With a patient and proactive approach, alongside a genuine appreciation for the importance of humour and connection, Nayibe strives to make counselling a supportive and comfortable experience. Their goal is to empower clients to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build a life that aligns with their individual needs and values.
At MDMH Clinic, Nayibe looks forward to supporting clients on their journey towards improved emotional wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth.
Nayibe also offers counselling in Spanish, providing clients with the opportunity to express themselves and explore their experiences in the language they feel most comfortable with.
